Ca la Maria is much more than an apartment. It's a tribute to Grandma Maria, one of the people who gave life and character to Can Calet for decades. When Can Calet was the butcher's and grocery shop of reference in Hostalets de Bas, she was the one welcoming customers behind the counter. She knew every family, shared conversations, listened to village news and made everyone feel welcome. Her hospitality went far beyond the business.

She was a great cook, passionate about traditional cuisine and the produce the land offered each season. When Grandpa Joan's vegetable garden bore abundant fruit, Maria and Sat turned tomatoes, peppers, beans and many other vegetables into homemade preserves that filled the family pantry all year round. Those days of shared work belong to the house's dearest memories. Today, the apartment that carries her name aims to keep that same spirit alive: homes where people gather around a table, where conversations linger unhurriedly and where every detail is designed to make guests feel at home.
